Terms and conditions of delivery

Welcome to the Lax Design online shop! By using the website, you commit to complying with the following terms and conditions for delivery. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing an order in our online shop.

The products visible in the online shop’s products cards include value added tax but no possible delivery charges.

ORDER AND DELIVERY
Purchasing our products is currently only possible via our online shop. Unfortunately we cannot accept orders via telephone or email. We process orders in the order we have received them in our system. An email order confirmation signifies that your order has been registered in our system successfully.

We will also send you an order confirmation via email once the order has been collected and a) handed over to Posti or Matkahuolto for delivery b) is ready for pickup at our Pick-up Point. For deliveries to Finnish addresses, our partners are Posti and Matkahuolto. We aim to deliver ordered products within 3–7 working days from the receipt of the order. If the delivery time is significantly longer, our customer service will contact you as soon as possible.

DELIVERY METHODS AND COSTS
In our online shop, you can select Posti or Matkahuolto as the delivery method.

The delivery method is based on the size and weight of the order. The order can be delivered in several shipments if the products cannot be included in one parcel. Usually, the orders are delivered within 3-7 working days depending on the number of products ordered and delivery method.

The delivery costs are determined by the value, weight and volume of the order. Deliveries to pick-up points are free of charge when the order value exceeds €350. When selecting the delivery method, you can see the final delivery costs and alternative delivery methods.

Posti stores parcels for seven (7) days in both pick-up points and parcel lockers – please remember to check the final pick-up date from the notice of arrival you have received from Posti. If you do not pick up a parcel within the timeframe determined by Posti, Posti will automatically send it back to our warehouse.

Matkahuolto stores parcels for seven (7) days in its pick-up points – please remember to check the final pick-up date from the notice of arrival you have received from Matkahuolto. If you do not pick up a parcel within the timeframe determined by Matkahuolto, Matkahuolto will automatically send it back to our warehouse.

We charge a fee of €15 for parcels that are returned to us undelivered to cover return and processing fees.

PAYMENT METHODS
Klarna Checkout payment system

You can choose an invoice as well as installments, card payment or direct payment as your method. Klarna Checkout verifies your identity and shows you certain information automatically as well as the available payment methods. The preselected payment method is automatically an invoice. The customer can select the payment method that best suits them, such as direct payment via their own online bank or card payment. Klarna Checkout ensures that you can shop safely regardless of your chosen payment method.

Klarna Checkout includes all Klarna payment methods: Pay now (card payments, online bank payment and Klarna’s direct payment), Pay later (invoice) and Pay in instalments. The Klarna payment system verifies the customer’s identity, which is why the parcel pick-up point must be primarily within 10 km of the order’s delivery address.
